About Me
My name is Chris Stolland and I am your travel advisor here at Waterloo Travel based in Wokingham Berkshire since October 2019. The question many people ask is why did you start a travel agency? Well this started when I retired from my 9 to 5 job in the Insurance Industry and this opportunity came about, giving me freedom to do something I love and the hours that suit me. I am well travelled and also have had the privilege to have worked overseas in the hotel and commercial catering sectors, not only has this given me an insight into some of the great countries I have worked in but also enjoying and looking after customers in some of the great hotels both here and overseas. I have a passion for travel and have recently completed a 2 month tour of India, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand as my retirement present for myself and my fiancé. Having worked in customer service most of my life I know how important it is to look after your customers, so with my passion for travel, knowledge and customer care we have created Waterloo Travel. I am not just an internet search engine with pictures I am a real person you can talk to and if there is a problem I am your first port of call 24/7. I love anything about travel and especially enjoy creating tailor made itinerary's.
